An opportunity has arisen for an Academic Assistant to join a leading organisation based in Belfast.
This is a Full-Time, Temporary Position – with an immediate start.
Working hours: Monday to Friday (excluding Wednesday’s): 10am – 5pm.
With an hourly rate of £18 per hour.
Job Purpose:
You will be working with an undergraduate student with a physical disability, supporting and aiding with their work. This position is ideal for a person wishing to obtain a graduate job where they can remain in a familiar, academic environment, engaging with interesting subject areas.
Essential Criteria:
• IT Proficient with the use of IT packages such as Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Good organisational and numeracy skills.
• Ability to remain professional and adhere to confidentiality.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
• Assisting the student in all areas of studies.
• Taking notes at lectures/tutorials.
• Transcribing study notes.
• Aiding with research.
• Writing up assignments.
