Zenith People are working with our client who are looking to recruit an experienced Electrical Biased Engineering Supervisor to work under the Engineering Manager on a permanent basis.
Working as part of a team, the Engineering Supervisor will carry out planned preventative maintenance along with working on breakdown maintenance. You will be required to diagnose electrical faults on a range of equipment associated with production and site services, as well as carry out improvements and project work.
The role responsibilities:
- Supervise Electrical Technicians including Instruments and controls engineers and ensure that all work is completed to the highest standard and in compliance with current regulations and standards
- Plan, schedule and coordinate electrical work, considering factors such as H&S, customer demand, project timelines, and resource availability
- Monitor the Work Order / Projects progress of the department and make any necessary adjustments to the schedule or work assignments as needed
- Ensure that all team members have the necessary training, resources and support to complete their tasks effectively
- Monitor the team’s performance and identify any issues or areas for improvement
- Budget Management
- Attend and repair breakdowns as required
- Establish satisfactory manufacturing standards by the detailed documentation of work instructions and process maps
The person we’re looking for:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the paper industry or similar process industry
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Experience leading and managing teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong project management skills
- Strong passion for quality excellence
