Description:
Our client, an established innovative Manufacturing company based in Milton Keynes are looking to expand the Design team. The current team structure ensures quality mentoring and coaching, and a chance to actively promote and support product development and expand your working experience.
You must have experience as an Electrical Design Engineer with a background in Food Processing or similar. You’ll work with a wider team of design specialists and manage the design of electrical systems from scratch, working alongside the Mechanical Design Engineer to continue innovative solutions and product development.
You must be qualified to a HNC or Degree Level, experience working within Electromechanical, Robotics, automation or food processing and have minimum of five year's design experience.

Responsibilities
- Provide customised solutions to customers
- Design electrical systems from scratch
- Communicate with internal colleagues and stakeholders
- Initiate design conceptions, propose design modifications and analyse processes and systems performance
- Research industry trends and developments
- Produce documentation such as electrical drawings and manuals
- Maintain up to date CAD library
- Operate withing the legal and regulatory framework
Ideal Requirements:
- A qualified Electrical Engineer with a minimum with 5 years’ experience
- Proven track record of designing bespoke machinery
- Experience working with gearboxes, motors, PLC’s, Servo controllers and safety devices into machinery
- Experience creating electrical drawings using AutoCAD and Draftsight
- Product development experience
- The ability to manage all trouble shooting issues and solve quickly and effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Able to work to tight deadlines
- Managing multiple large projects simultaneously
Pay
£45,000- £50,000
