In this role the successful Electrical Design Engineer will be involved with designing the circuits, layouts and PLC equipment of MCC Panels. You will be fault finding, conducting electrical tests and making modifications to the hardware on site.

The ideal Electrical Design Engineer will be able primarily office based but sometimes have to visit site to make modifications. You will be able to work overtime which is paid at a 1.25x in the week and 1.5x on the weekend.

The Role

• Designing MCC Panels
• Training on EPLAN provided
• Producing I/O configuration and I/O lists
• Work in a team of 6
• Designing cable routes, calculate containment size and update building layout drawings

The Person

• Diploma or degree in electrical engineering or C&G Level 3, NVQ 3 & requirements for electrical installations or equivalent
• Knowledge of Amtech, AutoCAD, Excel or other drawing packages
• Full UK Driving license
