Job Description
As the successful Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and delivering Electrical Designs to facilitate safe and compliant installations on site.
What you would do:
- Designing in conjunction with fire certs, disability access certs & planning permission report.
- Attend Design team meetings.
- Carry out site surveys of existing installations.
- Produce stage reports & presentations.
- Detail electrical schematics for build.
- Source and procurement of electrical components for designs
- Create test plans and documentation packs for developed Electrical Designs.
- Liaise with customers & suppliers, meeting project delivery deadlines.
- Produce detailed design briefs, the basis of designs and survey reports.
- Carry out all work in a professional manner.
Qualifications
- Previous, relevant experience, gained in the Electrical Engineering field
- Qualification in Engineering or related area
- Deep knowledge of CIBSE, IEC, BS, IS and EN Irish and UK standards
- Knowledge of Amtech required
- Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment
- Excellent communication skills
