We are currently recruiting for a Multi-skilled Engineer Apprentice with Electrical bias to join our Engineering team in Sittingbourne, Kent.
Responsibilities include:
- Attend and participate in the daily maintenance morning meeting.
- Develop good working relationships with members of the engineering team.
- Ensure that safety procedures are followed at all times for the safety of yourself and others.
- Support the team with breakdown assistance as and when required.
- Monitor machine failures and make changes or recommendations to prevent reoccurrence.
- Support the team with carrying out preventative maintenance schedules.
- After appropriate training keep accurate records of work carried out on SAP.
- Support the team with projects and process improvements, taking a lead on identifying improvements.
- Shadow and support colleagues within the engineering team to develop practical skills.
- Attend day release course as required.
- Keep up to date with all course work, work books and logs.
- Continually check your progress against the training log book with your mentor.
- Comply with all company policies. Be responsible for your own personal development
