My client is one of the largest independently owned companies within their industry and they are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join the business into a 2-man team.
The successful candidate will be hard-working, keen to get stuck in and learn and able to attend to plant breakdowns and repairs.
 
The Role - Electrical Engineer
- Installation work on both factory and process machinery
- Preventative maintenance tasks as well as being reactive concerning plant 
  breakdowns and repairs
- Fault-find on 415v, 240v, 110v and 24vac and dc systems
- Follow CCT diagrams to aid fault fault-finding
- PLC, establish necessary input/output (no program facility)
- Fault-find on OHCs, Remote handsets, contactor function, and fuses
- DC drives/inverters basic knowledge would be an advantage
- Maintain high bay lighting replacement, repair, and LED upgrade
- Test emergency lighting and evacuation alarm system
- Involved in CCT design and control panel building
 
Minimum Skills / Experience Required - Maintenance Engineer
- Previous experience in an Electrical Maintenance position
- 17th addition - 18th is beneficial
- Experience with Slitting/Decoiling machines would be an advantage
- A driving license is preferred but not essential
- A background within a heavy or factory environment is ideal
- Working at heights
- Qualified to NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds in an electrical variation
- Completed Apprenticeship/time served would be preferred.
 
The Package - Maintenance Engineer
- Starting salary up to £33,500 per annum
- Overtime available
- 3 Rotating shifts (Week 1: 6 am-2 pm Mon-Fri, Week 2: 8 pm-6 am Mon-Thurs, 
  Week 3: 1 pm-9 pm Mon-Thurs)
