Role Overview: My client is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee commercial projects ranging from £20k to £500k. The successful candidate will manage the electrical packages, ensuring timely and efficient delivery while maintaining high-quality standards. This role involves a combination of office-based tasks and onsite supervision, with a focus on coordinating installations and ensuring compliance with regulations and project specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage commercial Electrical Projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to plan and execute project deliverables effectively.
- Conduct periodic onsite visits to oversee installations, troubleshoot issues, and provide guidance to onsite personnel.
- Utilize a deep understanding of electrical installations to ensure compliance with regulations and safety standards.
- Collaborate with design teams to review and approve electrical designs, ensuring alignment with project requirements.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, budgets, and change orders.
- Utilize basic computer skills, with a focus on Excel spreadsheets, to track project metrics and facilitate communication.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in managing commercial Electrical Projects, with a focus on packages ranging from £20k to £500k.
- Knowledge of NICEIC regulations and experience working with NICEIC approved contractors is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of electrical installations, including contractor design aspects, to ensure successful project delivery.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Basic computer skills, particularly proficiency in Excel spreadsheets, to manage project documentation and reporting.
- Qualified supervisor experience in electrical installations is advantageous but not essential.
- Valid driving license and willingness to travel to project sites as required.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and make sound decisions under pressure.
Salary and Benefits:
