Electrical Qualifying Supervisor (Slough) – Overview
We are working with a large Housing Association Contractor who are seeking an Electrical Qualifying Supervisor to join their team working in the Slough area on a key contract. The company are an established contractor who specialise in repairs & maintenance of social housing stock, the have been operating for over 50 years, they have 5 offices and over 500 staff and can offer progression to all employees.
They are looking for an Electrical Supervisor to come on board on their Slough Council Contract. They work with a range of Housing Associations and Councils delivering Planned works and Responsive Repairs/Maintenance programmes. The role will be managing their Electricians on responsive repairs, remedials, testing and maintenance works. The company has 5 offices and over 500 employees, they can offering significant ongoing progression and development.
The role will be a 50/50 split between office and field based and will be working on the Slough Council Contract which they have held for 5-10 years and have just renewed for the next 5 years. They are looking for candidates with 2-3 years Supervisory experience, qualified with their 2391, 18th Edition and any other qualifications such as SMSTS/SSSTS or NICEIC QS accreditation would advantageous but not essential.
You will support the Compliance Manager on technical matters and manage the Engineers day to day with check ins on site, carrying out quality control and deadline date management. The majority of work is in a domestic setting, however there is also a small amount of commercial work too.
Electrical Qualifying Supervisor (Slough) – Requirements
- Experience at Electrical Supervisor level (2-3 years)
- Electrical Qualifications – 2391, 18th Edition, NVQ Level 3
- SSSTS/SMSTS, HND or NICEIC QS accreditation (Advantageous)
- Full UK driving licence
