Electrical/electronic Support technician sought within a specialised division of a global manufacturing brand offering bespoke mechanical/electro engineered solutions to the oil and gas, rail and subsea sectors.

Experience of testing, service and repair is required. Any exposure to remote equipment set up, diagnostics and repair advantageous.
The Electrical/Electronic Support engineer will report to the divisional manger and primarily will be responsible for three keys functions within the team. This will be approximately 50% of new equipment installations and set up, done predominantly remotely with some site/location work. The remainder of the time will be split between supporting the technical sales team in the acquisition of new purchase orders in the form of the more detailed technical aspects of the equipment solutions. Finally, the aftersales element in terms of customer care in technical support, equipment servicing and breakdown response and assistance, again the majority of this work will be completed remotely.

The role:
* Technical Electrical Support on specialised electrical solutions for the rail industry
* Support the technical sales team with detailed technical data and presentation of products
* Carry out after care activities direct with end customer, technical support, equipment servicing, diagnosis and repair.
The Person:
* Electrical/electronic experience from ANY industry background with exposure to test and repair.
* Strong degree of communication skills and client facing experience with a proven focus on customer care and customer experience.
