Position Overview: We are looking for a skilled Electrician/Maintenance Electrician to play a vital role in the maintenance team, ensuring the smooth operation across the picturesque campus. The successful candidate will be responsible for planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance works, contributing to the safety and functionality of the facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform electrical maintenance, repairs, and installations across the college campus. Conduct PPM to ensure the reliability of electrical systems and equipment. Respond promptly to reactive maintenance requests, diagnosing and resolving issues efficiently. Collaborate with colleagues in the maintenance team and other departments to address electrical concerns. Keep accurate records of work undertaken and contribute to the development of maintenance schedules. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and college policies. Qualifications and Skills:
Proven experience as an Electrician, with expertise in maintenance works. Recognized electrical qualifications (e.g., NVQ /or City & Guilds or equivalent). Familiarity with PPM processes and reactive maintenance. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a maintenance context. Valid electrical installation qualifications and certifications. Benefits:
