Electronics Engineer

On behalf of our client we have a pleasure to recruit for a position of Electronics Engineer.

Role Overview:

As Electronics Engineer you will operate within our manufacturing team, responsible for all electrical component work and software programming for our fleet of machines across the UK and Europe.
Your role will be responsible for new build developments and improvements, maintenance, repair, and servicing tasks.
Cooperating with the Operations Manager you will be proactive in new product development and continuous improvements.
Role Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
•              Deliver robust and reliable paper void fill machines which are used by companies across UK and Europe
•              Provide a road map of upgrades needed across our fleet of machines and proactively look for improvements to ensure our customers needs are met
•              Conducting routine inspections to identify and resolve issues promptly
•              Work with the Operations Manager to project plan and introduce a new portfolio of paper systems to add to our range
•              Maintaining our Asset Management System ensuring all records are accurate
To be successful in the position you will have the following:
•              Proven experience in Electronics Engineering and programming within a manufacturing unit
•              Inspection and Testing
•              Sound understanding of Health, Safety and environmental legislation and working practices
•              A commitment to achieve continuous improvement
•              Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team environment
•              Attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping and order fulfilment
•              Adaptable to the needs of the business
•              Full and clean driving license
