Electronics Technician required by a highly successful manufacturing company located in Harlow who are truly market leaders in the world class technology they bring to their customers. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a rapidly growing company who have recently moved into a new premises.
The successful candidate will hold experience working in an electronics assembly focused role, including SMT processes and PCB inspection. You will need experience working with electrical systems and circuits but can come from any industry background.
You will be responsible for assembling prototypes, creating specific harnesses and setups for production, investigating Surface Mount Technology assembly issues, and assisting with warranty issue investigations.
The role will also offer training on the service requirements of the company’s vacuum mentalisation machines, on which you will perform weekly maintenance. You will also support production with any issues relating to jigs and fixtures related to electronics.
The Electronics Technician Role:
· Assembly of prototypes to ensure they meet design and quality standards
· Construct custom wiring harnesses based on engineering schematics
· Investigate and troubleshoot issues, including soldering, component placement etc. Including the use of tools such as oscilloscopes
· Conduct quality checks and inspections
The Electronics Technician Candidate:
· Electronics assembly experience
· Understanding of SMT processes, PCB inspection etc.
