Our client is a leading engineering and manufacturing business located in the Wolverhampton area currently looking for a Software Engineer to join their software team.
The right candidate must have experience working within the engineering sector and have some hardware knowledge or mechanical engineering.
Key Responsibilities – Software Engineer
- Working within the software team working on the programming of test equipment team
- Programming industrial machines
- Working on test equipment systems as part of a team
- This role is an onsite based position and you will be required to be on site every day
- Development of code to perform closer data acquisition for data analysis
- Supporting the Test Equipment Manager with software used on the test equipment’s creating updates as well as modifying code
- Support route cause of investigations into quality systems software
- Participate in internal and external quality audits
Qualifications & Requirements – Software Engineer
- Python or C++ embedded experience is essential
- You must have experience working within the engineering sector
- Degree or Apprentice educated in software or electronics is essential
- Qualified Electronics Engineer or Technician
- Minimum of two years industry experience
- Machine programming experience
