Location: UK/London/Hybrid
Salary: Excellent Six Figure Basic + Bonus
Our client, a global publisher of digital and online educational resources, requires a new EMEA General Manager.
You will be a seasoned and proven sales leader who will own the sales and marketing strategies and execution for all the institutional products (supplementary and curriculum) across the UK and EMEA markets.
As the leader of the EMEA team, you will work closely with the Executive Vice President of Education (the division dedicated to serving the needs of K-12 teachers and students, and librarians), the CEO of the Group, and the educational product and marketing leaders to influence the development of products that serve the EMEA territory, shape an effective value creation strategy, and build a strong Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy per key major market in the EMEA region.
Key Objectives:
- Manage the UK/EMEA region so that it achieves annual budgeted revenue and profit growth for the UK/EMEA region.
- Revenue, growth (new and retention), contribution growth.
- Development of the team and leading them towards achieving targets.
- Addition of new partnerships, customer groups, and increase in channel revenue.
- Improved Retention rate from existing customers.
- Achievement of budgets for new business growth retention, and profitability.
- Research and develop new business partnerships and commercial opportunities across the region.
- New market penetration and revenue growth
- New partnerships and increase in profitability through new channels.
- Financial Management, Leadership and Governance
- Accelerate Revenue and margin growth.
- Development of a highly effective and collaborative team in the region.
- Price improvement with existing customers.
- Contribution and development of the worldwide strategy
Skills & Experience:
- Excellent command of the K-12 digital instructional market in the region.
- Experience building a world-class sales team, instilling data-driven sales processes, and achieving/surpassing sales goals.
- Good understanding of working in the UK schools and Multi Academy Trusts markets.
- Demonstrable experience growing K-12 digital instructional/information solutions with governments, distributors, and private schools in the EMEA region.
- Experience leading digital supplemental and curriculum sales teams across the UK and EMEA region and have established relationships with school chains, distributors and other potential customers/partners.
- Outstanding sales management skills and demonstrable experience building sales teams and partner and distributor networks in the regions have resulted in strong pipelines and sales across the regions.
- Advocate and represent the Voice of the Customer to the rest of the team, effectively communicating the gaps and requirements in the existing solutions to become successful in the region.
