My client, a leading consultancy firm are looking to hire an Employee Relations Specialist to join their team on 6 month temporary basis.
As an Employee Relations Specialist, your primary responsibility is to promote a positive and productive work environment by managing and enhancing relationships between employees and the organisation.
Your duties include:
* Consistent application of company policies and procedures. Provide guidance to both employees and management on interpretation and compliance with policies.
* Conduct thorough investigations into employee complaints, allegations, or violations of policies. Compile findings and recommend appropriate corrective actions or preventive measures.
* Full management of Employee Handbook.
* Collaborate with HR to develop and implement initiatives that enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention. Organise events and activities to foster a positive workplace culture.
* Facilitate effective communication between employees and management. Advise on best practices for open and transparent communication to maintain a healthy work environment.
* Identify Employee Relations trends and issues, and recommend training programs to address them. Provide guidance on conflict resolution skills and promote a positive workplace culture.
* Stay informed about labor laws, regulations, and industry best practices. Ensure that Employee Relations practices align with legal requirements and proactively address potential issues.
* Maintain accurate and confidential records of Employee Relations matters. Prepare reports and analyse data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
* Work closely with HR, management, and other stakeholders to develop and implement policies and practices that contribute to a positive employee experience.
* Continuously assess and improve Employee Relations processes to enhance the overall employee experience and contribute to a healthy organisational culture.
Skills and experience:
* Proven experience in Employee Relations, conflict resolution, and investigations.
* Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
* Excellent communication, mediation, and interpersonal skills.
* Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive situations with tact and diplomacy.
