Job description

Job Purpose

  • Deliver a high-quality service in line with Get Set UK’s delivery model, demonstrating a commitment to an inspiring and proud service.

  • Maintain high-service quality standards by adhering to external and contractual requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Support

  • Assess customer needs and barriers with integrity and create action plans to address concerns, for example providing CV and job search support.
  • Empower customers to achieve their goals through training and employment.
  • Assist customers to become job-ready, providing employer-led advice and guidance with responsibility.
  • Provide constructive feedback, and enable improvement, and preparation for the dynamic work environment.
  • Support customers in maintaining employment by promoting best practices.
  • Demonstrate motivation and focus by striving to meet targets and deadlines.
  • Support work-ready customers into employment.
  • Signpost customers for health, drug, alcohol, housing, and finance advice with a considerate approach
  • Track and record the progress of customers on the CRM platform, ensuring transparency and communication.
  • Work within Jobcentres, local authorities, and community associations, fostering strong partnerships.

Key Skills Required

  • Demonstrate strong communication skills by providing clear examples of situations where you managed conflict.
  • Be ambitious, resourceful, and innovative in supporting our customers to find sustainable employment.
  • Demonstrate drive and focus by being confident in working in a target-driven environment.
  • Team player supporting colleagues with an emphasis on people development.
  • Empathetic to vulnerable or challenging groups, showing consideration and a strong desire to help.
  • Experience in creating SMART action plans and conducting individual needs assessments.
  • Experience creating strong long-term partnerships with external partners and communities.
  • Demonstrate professional integrity and a high level of accuracy in line with the compliance contractual expectations.
  • Computer, data entry, and MS Office skills knowledge required.
