HMP Bronzefield are currently recruiting for an Employment Hub Administrator– this is a 12 Month Fixed-term contract.This is an exciting and impactful opportunity to work directly with prisoners and play a key role in the prisoner rehabilitation journey from reception to release. You will relish working with prisoners face to face and external agencies equipping the prisoners with tools such as banking, education, housing, work opportunities and everything they need to re-join society upon release. You will help deliver the prison banking programme and ID programme and support colleagues to match jobs vacancies with potential candidates. You will be a great communicator and collaborator working both independently and across internal departments with the employment lead and in pre-release meetings. We house up to 572 women (approximately 14.5% of the national female prison population). The women in our custody have a diverse and complex set of needs and range from mothers and babies, young offenders, life and long term sentenced women, short to mid-term sentenced women, foreign nationals and women on remand. We deliver the total operation of five prisons within the UK and own six Community Rehabilitation Companies in partnership with crime reduction charity Nacro.Main ResponsibilitiesAssessing the need of prisoners who require ID and/or a basic bank account and keeping records as per approved templates. Supporting prisoners with applications via the Prisoner Banking Programme, and ID programme. This includes following the relevant procedures, managing enquiries, and acting as the Single Point of Contact for applicants and programme partners. Using approved templates to maintain financial records as necessary, collect relevant management information and report on these as required.Supporting Prison Employment Leads in their capacity to identify and match candidates to job opportunities. Undertake a share of the transactional activity associated with the Activity Hub.
