My client is seeking a mid-level Employment Lawyer with ideally 4-8 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) or equivalent experience in employment law. This role is a fantastic opportunity to support and contribute to the growth of the busy and expanding Employment and HR practice. The successful candidate will play a key role in Employment Tribunal litigation and provide comprehensive employment law advice to our diverse client base.
Day-to-day of the role:- Manage multiple files and client relationships, often as the lead client contact.
- Work independently on matters and clients with appropriate supervision based on seniority and experience.
- Provide support and guidance to junior members of the Employment Law team and HR consultants and advisers.
- Advise clients on all aspects of employment law, including day-to-day advice and Employment Tribunal claims.
- Handle Employment Tribunal litigation, including drafting and responding to claims, preparing witness statements, and advocacy at preliminary hearings.
- Offer day-to-day employment and HR advice to managers, HR, and senior executives/Board level.
- Draft contracts, policies, and other employment-related documentation.
- Advise on disciplinary and grievance matters and conduct investigations.
- Conduct negotiations and draft settlement agreements.
- Advise individuals and senior executives.
- Experience in Employment Tribunal litigation and providing day-to-day employment advice.
- Proficiency in drafting legal documents and advising on disciplinary and grievance matters.
- Experience in conducting training for clients and supervising junior fee earners is beneficial.
- Strong focus on building client relationships and business development.
- Good technical skills with a willingness to learn and develop.
