Employment Vetting Officer3 Month Contract Chelmsford (Hybrid working)GBP15 per hour ARM are delighted to be supporting one of our clients with the recruitment of a Vetting Office on an initial 3 month contract. The Employment Vetting Officer will be responsible for undertaking all pre-Employment Vetting checks on new joiners to the business. Responsibilities Obtaining required checks such as employment references, DBS checks, right to work. Review all received checks, to ensure they meet the required standards. Using technology, undertake all required clearances for new starters. Ensuring that candidates and managers are regularly kept up to date on progress of clearances. Seeing cases through to completion including issuing of contract, accurate integration to payroll systems.Requirements Understanding of employment and vetting legislation, in both regulated and non-regulated environments. Proficient IT skills, MS Word and MS Excel are essential. Highly motivated with excellent attention to detail when working at pace, a result orientated approach and continually seeking to improve. Ability to prioritise own workload and meet organisational deadlines. Strong verbal and written communication skills with experience of dealing with customer queries and a track record of providing exceptional customer service.
