An exciting opportunity to join our Energy Data Management team
IN SHORT

Are you passionate about data and customer satisfaction? SEFE Energy is looking for an Energy Data Analyst to join our dynamic team in the Manchester.

The role will enable the expansion of the SEFE Energy business in the UK by providing a best in class service for all customers. Ensuring that all activities, incoming calls and emails are met within the ever growing demands, needs and complexity of the growing customer base.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Some of the key activities include:

  • Working within a sub team within the Operations Department to ensure timely and accurate data is available for Customer Billing and Industry Settlements. There will also be liaison with various teams within the organization from Billing, Settlements, Metering, Credit Control and Sales
  • Handling transfer reads disputes between suppliers, whilst maintaining a working relationship between third parties (shipper agreed reads)
  • Handling industry charges between suppliers whilst maintaining a working relationship between third parties (inter shipper disputes)
  • Cleansing of data (correct address details, asset details and correct reads logged on industry databases
  • Production of reports in line with the manager requirements
  • Analysis data for industry read performance
  • Query resolution both internal and external
  • Ensuring all processes and procedures are constantly reviewed, documented and updated
  • You may also be required to carry out any other duties within the scope and purpose of this role as requested by your line manager and in line with business needs.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and numeracy skills
  • Excellent IT skills, with proven working knowledge of Databases and MS Office including advanced MS Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in all areas of work.
  • Able to prioritise within a busy challenging environment.
  • Able to work well as part of a team as well as individually.
  • Substantial previous experience in a similar role within the energy industry would be a significant advantage.
