Job description

Job Title: Engineering Coordinator

Location: Poole

Contract Type: Permanent

Salary: £25,000 - £28,000 per annum

We are urgently seeking an experienced Engineering Coordinator to join our team in Poole. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the engineering department, ensuring efficient coordination of tasks and administrative functions.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate engineering projects and activities, ensuring timely completion and adherence to deadlines.
  • Assist with the preparation of project documentation, including reports, presentations, and proposals.
  • Maintain accurate records of project milestones, expenditures, and resources.
  • Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
  • Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate travel arrangements for engineering staff.
  • Provide administrative support to the engineering team as needed, including filing, data entry, and correspondence management.
  • Assist with the procurement of materials and equipment required for engineering projects.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in an administrative or coordination role, preferably within an engineering or technical environment.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of engineering principles and terminology is desirable but not essential.
