Engineering Manager

List of Duties / Responsibilities for an Engineering Manager:

• Lead a small team of engineers, PCB Layout Designer, Electrical/Electronics Engineer and Bill of Material administration staff
• Manage Products through our New Product Introduction (NPI) Process
• Support prototype builds in Operations
• Interface with Sales Staff & Customers to ensure smooth product introduction
• Ensure all NPI documentation is created by the Engineering team
• Help drive product improvements, through the introduction of Design for Manufacture (DFx) tools.

Education & Experience required for an Engineering Manager:

• Degree in Engineering
• Design Engineer / New Product Introduction / Process Engineer, looking to step up into a management role
• 2 years in a manufacturing environment.

Additional Optional Skills required for a Engineering Manager:

• Experience of Valor/Aegis Factory Logix or similar
• Experience with working with PCB design formats such as ODB , Altium or similar
• XL Spreadsheet / Pivot Tables / Data Manipulation
• IPC and ISO9001 Experience
