Engineering Manager - Food Manufacturing
Monday - Friday - 8am-4pm
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive management of the Engineering and Engineering Technical Teams.
- Lead regular face to face meetings to coach, motivate and engage with people and teams.
- Manage, monitor, and control business and budgeting activities.
- Drive the transition from reactive to proactive Engineering.
- Manage within the company guidelines on all policies and procedures. (Absence, disciplinary & Grievance, Health & Safety, and security) Ensuring the Engineering Function meets all current statutory H&S obligations.
- Oversee the Engineering Stores procurement regarding any stock shortfalls, defect parts or compatibility issues.
- Identify potential engineering and system projects, upgrades to improve and safeguard operational performance.
To be successful:
- Experience leading large multi-disciplined Engineering teams within a fast paced environment.
- Be a confident leader, Strong decision-making and able to engage with senior leadership teams.
- Exposure to Lean, Six Sigma, FMEA, TPM Methodology or Manufacturing excellence.
- Experienced in both mechanical and electrical maintenance.
- Knowledge of SCADA and PLC-based control systems.
- Strong working knowledge of CMMS systems.
