About the Role:
As an English Intervention Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in an 'Accelerate Programme' working one-on-one with small groups of students who have faced challenges in their learning journey, whether due to English as an Additional Language (EAL) or behavioral issues. - Develop and implement effective strategies to address learning gaps and promote academic progress
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment
- Assist with marking and planning activities to support curriculum delivery at KS3 and KS4 levels
This exciting opportunity begins after Easter (April 15th) and extends until the end of the academic year, offering you the chance to make a lasting impact on the educational journey of students.
Qualifications required as a English Intervention Teacher:
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualification
- Experience teaching English at KS3 and KS4 (Primary experience will be considered)
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for English education
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
