The successful candidate will join our friendly and supportive English team and work predominanly with our full-time 16-18yr old students studying vocational courses at the college. Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate our learners is essential. A good knowledge of barriers to learning is desirable..
You must have experience in teaching both GCSE and Functional Skills English and possess the following qualifications:.
- Subject related degree or equivalent professional qualification
- A recognised teaching qualification
- GCSE English and Maths (Grade A*-C) or equivalent Level 2 qualification
- Minimum of Level 3 (or equivalent qualification) in English or Literacy
