The role
The desired English Teacher will have experience of working within a school environment and be comfortable supervising pupils across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4). You will be confident in helping students to develop their language skills, explore the world of literature and develop a lifelong love of reading and writing. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who wants to develop their experience of teaching a multitude of age ranges and abilities.
This is a 11-18 boys grammar school in Spalding, with almost 1000 boys. The schools mission is to provide an outstanding education for our students, which will give the opportunity for all to attain their full potential: intellectually, personally and socially.
Requirements
To be considered for the position of English Teacher, you will:
- Have experience teaching English to KS3 and KS4.
- Excellent communication and inter UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons.
- Hold, or be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS, registered to the Update Service
