Enterprise and Cloud Infrastructure Specialist – NOT REMOTE
 
Our client, a global consultancy services organisation headquartered in Northwest Leeds, is currently seeking an Enterprise and Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to join their dynamic IT Services Team.
 
In this role, based in the Leeds office, you will play a pivotal role in supporting and assisting the business across the UK and Europe. The primary focus will be on enhancing user experience and ensuring the security of key components, including servers, wide area and local networks, WiFi, Windows desktop, unified communications, and Cloud technologies (M365, Azure AD, OneDrive, Arc, Endpoint Manager, and Defender ATP).
Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor, support, and maintain global on-premises and Cloud Infrastructures.
• Lead the ongoing global migration from on-premises IT infrastructure to a cloud-managed environment.
• Develop, manage, and implement infrastructure projects to support business-wide initiatives.
• Respond to 2nd/3rd line Help Desk calls, manage items through resolution, and provide technical cover and mentoring.
• Perform regular preventative maintenance checks, ensure proper patching of servers, and implement corrective actions.
• Manage the security and integrity of data and IT systems.
• Collaborate with external suppliers and support agencies for ongoing infrastructure support and maintenance.
• Proactively design and document infrastructure processes, procedures, and standards.
• Establish working guidelines and document processes for the design and management of networked applications.
• Collaborate with the Global IT team on global initiatives and rollouts.

Essential Skills:

• Enterprise-level knowledge and support of the Microsoft 365 environment and Admin Centre (Microsoft cloud technologies, M365, Azure AD, Defender ATP, Endpoint Manager, and OneDrive).
• Excellent understanding of Microsoft Technologies, Windows Servers (2012 & 2016), Active Directory, and Group Policies.
• Comprehensive experience with VMware, vCentre, & ESXi.
• Good understanding of Storage, SAN, NAS, & Backup Technologies.
• Minimum of 3 years’ hands-on experience as an all-round IT Infrastructure Specialist.

Please note that this is not a remote role, flexible working after probation. The office is based in LS18, and the working hours are Monday to Friday.
Salary £55,000 – £60,000 DOE
