We are looking for an experienced and driven 3rd Line Infrastructure Engineer to join a team of dynamic engineers working for a global company you will be part of a small team based in Leeds supporting tickets and responsible for the maintenance of their IT Infrastructure, ensuring it runs smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide 3rd line technical support and management of all IT Infrastructure
* Assist with the planning, design and implementation of projects
* Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner as well as support and mentor more junior members of staff / apprentices
* Work with the IT team to ensure that all IT Infrastructure is secure, up to date and meets regulatory requirements
* Manage system backups and ensure data integrity
* Implement changes to systems and services in line with policies and procedures
* Ensure effective communication with internal and external stakeholders
Technical Skills Required:
* Experience with Windows Server 2008/2012/2016
* Experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and Group Policy
* Experience with Virtualisation technologies such as VMware and Hyper-V
* Experience with Linux servers
* Knowledge of Networking technologies such as Cisco, Firewalls and Switches
* Knowledge of scripting languages such as PowerShell and VBScript
* Experience with Cloud Technologies such as Azure and AWS
