Being part of established finance team you will be responsible for the management of a portfolio of clients. This person will support the finance function across a broad range of tasks including purchase ledger, treasury management, financial reporting, tax, and audit support. - Supporting the purchase ledger function
- Creditors reconciliation and reporting
- Liquidity management including payment runs / banking
- Supporting Treasury function, getting latest savings rates, processing fixed deposits.
- Bank reconciliations
- Inter-company reconciliations
- VAT returns
- Expense analysis
- Support with year end audit process
- Assist with month end routine
- Budgetary control support and implementation
- Supporting the development of internal systems and processes
- Supporting the wider finance team
- Advanced/Intermediate Excel skills
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented, organised and capable of multitasking effectively.
- Accountancy software experience beneficial but not essential.
Working towards accountancy qualification ATT AAT possibly ACCA ACA CIMA
