We are presenting a great opportunity for an experienced ESG and Health & Safety Manager to join the senior team.
As the ESG and Health & Safety Manager, you will be responsible for defining and managing the business' strategic approach to ESG and Health and safety across the whole business, including people, premises and fleet.
This position will see you creating and managing policies, esuring these are well communicated, fully implemented and firmly embedded to support the business culture and values.
You will be passionate about what you do, with the ability to engage and excite colleagues and stakeholders, bringing them onto the journey with you.
Previous experience within Health and Safety is paramount as is a demonstrable knowledge of ESG.
Succcessful candidates will be able to demonstrate the following:
- Extensive knowledge and working experience as a Health and Safety Manager
- Previous experience of ESG
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- NEBOSH Diploma or Level 5 NVQ
- IOSH is highly desirable
- Up to date knowledge and understanding of ISO 9001, 14001 and OHSAS 18001
- Strong influencing skills at all levels
- Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic business
- Ability to manage and deliver change in a multi-site organisation
- Strong business acumen with a strategic aligned approach to safety objectives
- Ability to produce and deliver high quality communications (presentations, reports and emails)
- A good understanding of sustainability and ESG, ideally with knowledge of ESG measurement and reporting
- Experience of leading projects, including articulating direction and findings to senior stakeholders
- A practical, hands on approach
