SalaryOur client, a leading alternative asset investor, is looking to hire an ESG and IR Executive to join its growing London team with responsibility for leading the firm's ESG activities whilst also supporting the Investor Relations Director in the delivery of a first class service to the firm's investors. What the job involves
- Be an integral part of the firm's ESG Committee
- Be responsible for liaising with the Portfolio Team and management teams to progress the ESG agenda, set targets and collect information to be used to demonstrate the firm's progress on its ESG goals at the portfolio company level
- Collate the information and produce reports for investors
- Respond to ESG questionnaires from investors
- Support the Investment Team on the integration of ESG at firm and portfolio company level
- Complete UNPRI reporting (annually)
- Support and work closely with the Investor Relations Director in all aspects of fundraising processes and investor relationship maintenance
- Prepare investor communications and marketing material for existing and new investors including investor reporting
- Update all existing materials
- Track and record all investor related interactions and follow ups
- Respond to ad-hoc investor queries and liaise closely with the fund accounting team, fund administrators and IR / investment team to ensure that enquiries are responded to appropriately
- Assist with preparation of AGM documentation
- Excellent academic record
- Impeccable attention to detail and organisational skills
- Confident team player
- A self-confident and motivated individual who can work across all levels of the firm
- Flexible and versatile with an ability to adapt to shifting priorities
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal and written communication skills
- Sound PowerPoint and Excel skills
- CRM experience, an advantage
- Previous exposure to Private Equity or other alternative investments is an advantage but not a prerequisite
- A keen interest in ESG - ability to undertake research, communicate findings with members of the team and disseminate information in stakeholder reports, attend and participate in industry events
