Estate and Facilities Manager - Whitchurch, Shropshire
The role will include:
- Day to day management and leadership of the Facilities team across the Springcare organisation.
- Facilities compliance: ensure all organisational statutory and legal compliance obligations are adhered to and a robust system is in place to provide timely and effective monitoring. In addition general H&S obligations are met proactively. This will include but not be restricted to: gas, asbestos, water hygiene, lifting, fire safety and electrical safety. Ensuring appropriate legislation, codes of practice and safe systems of work are adhered to. Where any failures occur these are investigated and appropriate improvements process are implemented and adhered to.
- Regularly review the reactive and planned works carried out across the facilities portfolio to identify trends and make recommendations where required.
- Develop and maintain Facilities policies and standard operating procedures in accordance with legal and contractual obligations.
- Undertake ad hoc project work within assigned portfolio, reviewing specification, conducting site visits, and advising on budget and risk.
- Creating maintenance schedules and delegating tasks to team members. Develop, embed and promote Faultfixers Facilities software within the organisation.
- Developing maintenance budgets.
- Identifying suppliers through competitive pricing process ensuring value for money
To be successful in the role of Estate and Facilities Manager, our ideal candidate would have:
NEBOSHH
ILM Certificate in Leadership and Management (Facilities Management)
Driving licence holder
Facilities Management Qualification
