An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Sheffield City Council as a Housing Officer within our Estates Team.
We are looking for highly motivated, enthusiastic, and keen individual who is passionate about keeping our neighbourhoods clean and safe.

Have you got excellent IT and communication skills and can deliver excellent customer care?
As part of the team, you will be required to undertake Health and safety checks of our flats. Keeping very concise records while following our policy and procedures. Dealing with customer complaints and any Housing issues including reporting repairs.
Full training will be given.
You will need to show a basic understanding of numeracy and literacy as you will have the use of I.T equipment to record your work and complete online training.

If you are appointed to this role, your starting salary will be at the bottom of the grade. If you provide payslip evidence that your basic pay is greater than the bottom of the grade, we will consider starting you at the point of minimum advantage within the grade.
Full-time employees work 37 hours for 52 weeks of the year and we offer a generous holiday entitlement. We are open to discussions about a wide range of flexible working opportunities which benefit you and the Council, including reduced hour contracts, working part time or as a job share.
