As part of their continuous growth, they are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join the team as an Estimator/Business Development Professional.
Position Overview:
As an Estimator/Business Development Professional, you will play a crucial role in the company's success by combining your estimating skills with Business Development expertise. This is an office-based role where you will be responsible for analysing project requirements, preparing accurate cost estimates, and actively contributing to the Business Development strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough analysis of project specifications to prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates.
- Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure comprehensive understanding of project requirements.
- Utilise your Business Development skills to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, and subcontractors.
- Prepare and present proposals to potential clients, showcasing their capabilities and competitive advantages.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitors to contribute to strategic decision-making.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry.
- Demonstrated success in Business Development and client relationship management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Proficient in using estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- A proactive and results-oriented mindset.
- Degree in Construction Management is preferred but not essential.
Salary: The salary for this position is competitive and will be in the range of £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
