Remuneration: up to £60,000 + discretionary bonus

The role of the Estimator - Fire Doors will involve:

• Estimating role dealing with all aspects of roofing and carpentry services for new-build developments, schools, hospitals and student accommodation
• Interpreting technical drawings, generating & following up quotations
• Producing formal quotations to customers
• Taking details from drawings to produce BOQs allowing for a timely return of quotations for customer deadlines
• Keep good documentation of tenders and quotations on internal database
• Contact customers dealing with queries and providing additional technical information
• Establish and maintain relationships with contractors and vendors and assessing the risk level associated with a project
• Liaising with the quantity surveyors and directors regularly
• The role is predominantly office based, however will occasionally will have to go to site to measure up and provide quotations for clients

The ideal applicant will be Estimator - Fire Doors with:

• Must have proven estimating experience within the construction industry
• Ideally have experience in the Fire Doors, roofing, cladding, carpentry or joinery market sectors
• Ideally will have a good understanding of technical drawings
• Confident individual who can provide excellent customer service
• Must have full UK driving license
• High levels of organisation and attention to detail
• Computer literate (Microsoft Office etc)
• Good literacy and numeracy skills
