Description
As the European Assistant Accountant you would be involved in:
- Processing and review of standard and non-standard journals
- Prepare and review of accruals and prepayments
- Prepare of site VAT return, ECSL and Intrastats reporting
- Ensure all transactions are recorded accurately and on a timely basis
- Reconciling all balance sheet accounts and reviewing designated balance sheet accounts allocated to assistants.
- Analyse and resolve any un-reconcilable items on a timely basis
- Monthly review of balance sheet reconciliations with key stakeholders at site
- Provide appropriate and timely financial reports covering various metrics as required by site management, including monthly management accounts and variance analysis
- Support Business reporting requirements
- Provide routine and ad-hoc analysis as requested by site operations,
Profile
The successful candidate will have the following attributes:
Experience of management and financial accounting and reporting
Experience of working in a busy environment, providing accounting/reporting services to tight deadlines
Worked independently to prepare monthly reports and analysis
- Competent using ERP systems such as Oracle/SAP
