Our Technology client a world leader in their field has an exciting new opportunity for a European Head of Sales to join their business and be based from their UK HQ in Chapeltown. You’ll report into the European Operations Manager and be responsible for a team of 8 across Europe. Your role as the Head of Sales will be to lead and develop European sales of products and ITAD services to maximise profit margins and introduce efficient processes.
You will be responsible for:
- Analyze existing job profiles, personnel, and compensation plans for Sales personnel in Europe. Suggest any recommended changes and implement them if approved.
- Recruit, train, coach and manage multi-country diverse sales team.
- Establish written policies and procedures and develop principal KPI’s by operations, employee, country, facility, partner, and others, as needed.
- Develop intimate understanding of all Global ITAD offerings. Prepare periodic competitive benchmarking for European ITAD industry.
- Lead quarterly pricing committee and set and agree quarterly pricing across Europe.
- Analyze and present business cases for new and/or improved offerings.
- Report to Management Sales results, quotas, funnels, forecasts as well as to Finance and International Management.
- Establish sales and quotas by salesperson and report weekly deviations from budget.
- Ensure all sales (Equipment, ITAD) are properly recorded for prompt invoicing and collections via systems.
- Monitor CRM opportunities and leads for all European sales staff.
- Oversee 3rd party service provider and Customer onboarding and contract creation.
The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in building profitable sales and business growth, be an exceptional communicator with competent IT skills. You must also come from a IT hardware/ITAD background. In return you will receive excellent commission and pay.
