My client, a busy and dynamic international membership organisation, with lovely offices based in the City, seek a a bright and confident Events Coordinator to join their well-established events team.
This role requires working closely with the Events Manager on the delivery of all UK and International events (both in person and hybrid), including meetings, webinars, conferences, exhibitions and more.
You will be playing an important role in a small, but hard-working and dedicated team which services one of the most important sectors in the UK, which is rapidly expanding its exports overseas.
Main duties include:
Working closely within the events team on the end-to-end running of events: liaising with speakers, venues and suppliers, delegate communications, badges, creating event slides, agendas, floorplans, marketing the events and managing all of the necessary logistics.
Attending and representing the organisation at events in the UK and internationally, whilst assisting member companies.
Working closely with the marketing team on event marketing campaigns and creating marketing materials, such as brochures, emails, leaflets, webpages, ticket pages and post-event surveys.
Working closely with Membership to ensure we are tracking attendance and engagement of members by updating the CRM accordingly.
All event-related administrative tasks and dealing with member enquiries relating to events.
The right candidate for this role will have some relevant previous experience, and be hard working, looking to take the next step in their career. You will need excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels, both internally and externally and want to work for an organisation where you can develop and grow over time.
The position offers hybrid working, with an office presence of at least 2 days a week. There is also the opportunity for International travel.
Starting salary 30K – 32K plus excellent benefits.
