Job description

Are you ready to make your mark as part of our Events Management Team? Then you’ve come to the right place. At White & Case, we’ll support you, give you responsibility and welcome you as an integral member of our diverse, international team from day one.

You will plan and execute internal and external client-facing events both in-person and virtually, for the purpose of business development and Firm-wide initiatives. This includes events in London, as well as EMEA, and globally.

The successful candidate will work with and support the London Events Team as well as the Global Events Team, Lawyers and Internal Teams with the development and implementation of an overall best practice approach to event management on behalf of the Firm.

Firm Summary

With lawyers and staff operating from more than 47 locations, working in virtually every country of the world, we have invested heavily in building a high-quality full-service practice competing at the top of the market. We are distinguished by our on-the-ground presence in the world’s key financial markets and our strengths in handling complex cross-border work.
It’s not just about our global network of offices and shared services centers; it’s the global interconnectedness of the Firm that our people, and our clients, value most. We work well together across geographic and practice boundaries. It’s one of the reasons we attract and retain cross-border work. And why we attract a diverse group of people.
Our lawyers are globally minded, enterprising, collaborative and committed to excellence. Diversity is a core value of our Firm and it has been recognized with numerous awards and top rankings around the world. Our people represent 90 nationalities and speak 80 languages.

As the EMEA Events Coordinator, you will utilise your expertise in virtual events, to provide guidance and implement logistics to ensure seamless event execution. Moreover, you will work to manage administrative tasks, and collaborate with internal teams to handle venue memberships, coordinate billing, and uphold the Firm's values as its ambassador.

Qualifications and skills

  • Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years in a legal services firm (preferred)
  • Willingness to work outside the parameters of a 09:30am-6:00pm working day as required, including early morning, evenings, and occasional weekends, as well as globally
  • Familiarity with local vendors and venues, fostering quick relationship development
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and adaptable to new systems, with excellent communication skills
  • Client-focused, adept at managing diverse stakeholders and prioritisation, and excels in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical abilities and is a collaborative team player
