A growing company based near Old Street station is seeking an Events Coordinator, paying up to £32,000 for a 12 month fix term contract (Maternity Cover), to support the organisation of events with the legal sector.
The role will be joining the internal Marketing team and will be coordinating a calendar of approximately 50 events over the year. Including venue sourcing, guest lists, collateral, sourcing speakers as well as liaising with the Business Development team. The events are both face to face and virtual with a great mix of conferences, networking events, and webinars. This is a really great role in a growing company, where you will be involved in building these events from the ground up.
Duties will include the following:
- Organise in-person events; Viewing and liaising with venues & organisers, speakers and hosts and attend and assist with public & client-facing duties.
- Organise and promote online events/webinars; speakers and attendees.
- Securing sponsorship and exhibition space.
- Support sponsored events on the day, assisting with public & client-facing duties.
- Coordinate pre and post Event email campaigns.
- Create event content for socials as well as liaising with the social media coordinator to ensure our output is informative and concise.
- Obtain and monitor Event feedback.
- Update Events pages on the company websites.
- Collateral design for invites and other events-related printed materials, organising the print of the material.
- Maintain and update Events budget and work out potential ROI of events where possible.
- Maintain spreadsheets/Internal Database up to date with relevant event information.
- Attend and participate in Event and Marketing Report meetings
- Assist with internal staff social events.
The ideal candidate will come from a corporate events background and ideally be immediately available. You will have experience coordinating events within professional services or legal, but all industries will be considered. You will have a great can-do attitude, with the ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment..
