A local independent school is looking for an experienced Examinations Officer to join the team and support the administration of the school's internal and external examinations, facilitating a smooth exam experience for their students.

As an Exams Officer , you will manage the organisation, operation, and result reporting for the internal and external examinations taken within the school.
You can expect a high degree of autonomy in your role - including the ability to make key decisions regarding timetable planning, budgeting, and resource management - as well as close relationships both with your internal colleagues (such as for training/development, procedural compliance, and the implementation of reasonable adjustments) and with external agencies (i.e. exam boards, the Joint Council for Qualifications).

This is a full-time (37.5h) Exams Officer role, covering term-time + 4 weeks (c. 44 weeks per year).
Advertised annual salary will be pro-rated according to this period .
Person specification:
* ( Essential ) GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English with a minimum of grade C / 4
* ( Essential ) Excellent administrative skills including planning and organisation, problem-solving, time management, and use of IT.
* ( Essential ) Comfortable working autonomously and with decision-making.
* ( Desirable ) Knowledge of JCQ regulations and public examination processes
* ( Desirable ) Experience in working within an education/school setting
