Acorns Childrens Hospice are now looking for an Executive Assistant for Care Services to provide administration support to our Director of Care & Executive Nurse and Care Deputy Directors
About the Role
At Acorns Children’s Hospice we offer specialist palliative care and support for children and their families across the West Midlands. We are there wherever and whenever they need us, in the hospice, community and at home. Our aim at Acorns is to help families feel equipped to cope at every stage of their child’s life with dedicated teams offering psychological, emotional and practical support.
As Executive Assistant, you will:
- Provide administration to support to the Director of Care & Executive Nurse and the Deputy Directors such as diary management, travel arrangements, managing correspondence
- Act as a central point of contact for clinical services
- Arrange, coordinate and minute meetings
- Work closely with the Executive Assistant for the CEO
- Support the Director of Care & Executive Nurse in maintaining efficient compliance in line with CQC requirements
- Coordinate the collation of assurance evidence for CQC monitoring and prepare reports on clinical governance
- Assist the Deputy Directors in the maintenance of a live risk register
About You
You should have:
- PA experience at Director level
- Relevant qualification such as RSA/OCR level 3 or equivalent
- Knowledge of CQC compliance and clinical governance
- Minute taking skills
