Executive Assistant / Business ManagerPermanentWest Midlands - hybrid (1-2 days office presence)c.£45,000 + bonus + benefitsNetwork HR have been retained to support an interesting organisation that provides skills and workforce development in the utilities industry, to support with the hire of an experienced Business Manager. This role will be integral to the business with the primary duty being to support and enable the CEO and provide support duties to the Board of Directors. Not only will this role provide personal administration duties, the successful candidate will provide true value-add to their internal and external client groups such as CEO's, prominent commercial businesses, governing bodies etc by way of proactively managing matters such as events, communications, meetings, presentations etcThe role can be defined as follows:• EA/PA duties - Managing the schedule and logistics for the CEO. Ensuring diary management aligns with the strategic priorities of the business and agenda. Liaising with internal and external individuals on behalf of the CEO etc. • Secretariat-type duties for the Board -. Provide meeting support i.e. assisting the chair to develop agendas, collate and circulate papers, prepare and circulate minutes, etc. Organise meetings including all logistics such as travel, accommodation, catering, venue booking and manage correspondence accordingly.• Secretariat for Strategic Membership meetings - Prepare communications for members and stakeholders, supporting CEO and Director of Membership and Strategic engagement to develop agendas, circulate papers and manage actions. • Programme Management - Distribute action points from executive meetings to the relevant functional leaders, holding accountability for timely execution of action points, and ensure successful outcomes through the effective oversight of the various projects and programmes on behalf of the executive office as required.Candidate Background:• An understanding of the energy or utility's sector would be advantageous but not essential• Experience supporting a C level executive of a prominent organisation - preferably B2B as this experience will translate well (corresponding with external stakeholders/clients regularly) • Strong IT literacy skills - this will come in the form of understanding modern technology to support with presentations, virtual meetings and online webinars/seminars etc. • Dynamic and creative in your approach (ability to think outside the box, be proactive)• An exceptional eye for detail & excellent organisational skillsThis role will be great for someone who is currently a PA and may be looking for broader exposure or someone currently working in office support who may be looking to refine a professional career.
