Our client, a highly respected medical / life science charity focused on helping support some of the most promising partnerships and developments in medical science, is seeking a high-level senior business EA to support their CEO. This candidate should be highly professional and have significant executive support experience, preferably at C-suite / Board level. While experience in the life sciences sector would be beneficial, it is not required. However, a shared passion for improving people’s lives, and the charity’s objectives generally, is a must.
This Executive Assistant will be an exceptional communicator with excellent writing skills and act as a gatekeeper for the CEO. This EA will have the scope to work autonomously and creatively and be expected to work innovatively and with initiative, – and be able to maintain the highest levels of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
The successful candidate will have a desire to work as a team, for the greater good of the organisation, and the charity’s main goals.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Proactive inbox management
- Complex calendar management
- Drafting emails and other written materials on behalf of the CEO
- Complex travel planning
- Oversight of CEO priorities and commitments, ensuring effective organisation
- Internal / external meeting planning and preparation
- Liaise and build strong relationships with CEO’s direct reports and other senior stakeholders in line with CEO's priorities
- Provide "gatekeeper" and "gateway" role, ensuring smooth communication between CEO and stakeholders
- Share and exchange best practices with other support staff.
- Other projects/duties as assigned for the overall benefit of the organisation.
Salary: Up to £65k, 5% flexible benefit and discretionary bonus, excellent benefits and holiday package.
Based: Central London - hybrid (approx. 4 days office / 1 WFH)
