SENIOR EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT TO CEO & OFFICE MANAGER
up to £65,000 + (generous) Benefits + (disc.) Bonus
London (West End) | Hybrid (2 days WFH)
1 YEAR [MATERNITY] FTC
One of our long standing Private Equity clients has a new opportunity for a Senior Executive Assistant to come onboard for a 1 year (maternity cover) FTC, and look after their CEO as well as the Office Management. This role is suitable for someone with previous C-Suite (or equivalent) experience in Private Equity or Investment Management environments for a listed firm. The successful candidate will have strong gravitas, be ready to hit the ground running and be able to start up until early May 2024.
COMPANY: Our client is a listed (FTSE 250) Private Equity / Venture Capital firm based in the West End, and very successful in their Tech and wider Life Sciences sectors' investments. We've recruited extensively for them and know they look (very) well after their own staff, which is evident by their benefits, staff tenure and retention.
ENVIRONMENT: The business support team works in a very tight-knit manner. All their EAs really support each other, and whilst everyone has their own main Executive(s)/team(s) they support, the first one to have some spare capacity will look to support the others.
DUTIES:
- Extensive diary management for the CEO, including different time zones and sometimes conflicting priorities.
- Local and international travel coordination, including some complex itineraries across different time zones.
- Scheduling internal and external meetings, with some exposure to collating research when needed.
- Supporting with board meetings, including the preparation, board packs, agendas, minutes, etc.
- Supporting with correspondence, document collation, expenses, filing, etc., when needed.
- Other ad-hoc support in line with the Executive Assistant role.
- Look after the Office Management.
CANDIDATE:
- Minimum 5 years Executive Assistant experience supporting C-Suite (or eqv.) in a listed company.
- Previous Private Equity / Venture Capital experience preferred (but other relevant experience from Pharma, BioTech, Investment / Asset Management, or wider Life Sciences / Financial Services will also be considered).
- Excellent attention to detail and a strong business mindset.
- Strong team player with 1st class communication skills.
- Capable of being as proactive, as well as reactive.
- Previous Office Management experience.
