M&A / Corporate Finance Advisory Executive opportunity within an established boutique practice offering involvement in a variety of lower / mid-market transactions (£2m - £50m EV) and future progression to Director.
THE COMPANY
An established lower / mid-market Corporate Finance Advisory firm with a long history of advising SME, Owner-Managed and Entrepreneur-led businesses on Mergers, Acquisitions, Management Buyouts / Buy-Ins, Growth Capital Raising and EOT transactions. Working generally on a 'sector agnostic' basis, over the years the firm has developed particular expertise in a range of sectors including Technology, Business Services, Industrials and Consumer Products.
THE OPPORTUNITY
Strong deal flow and a focus on long-term succession plans have combined to create a new opportunity for an M&A / Corporate Finance Professional which will involve supporting an Associate Director or Director in lead advisory work on transactions from initial meetings through to completion.
As a Corporate Finance Executive your responsibilities will include
- Assisting in the project management of a range of transactions including Acquisitions, Disposals, Management Buyouts, Growth Capital and Private Equity Fundraises
- Preparing key documents & materials including Information Memoranda, Buyer Research, Market Analysis, Financial Forecasts and Reports
- Managing Due Diligence processes and acting as key contact for advisors and buyers
- Supporting Lead Advisory negotiations and project managing transactions through to completion.
- Liaising regularly with clients during deal processes to maintain momentum
- Building a network with Private Equity Investors, Lawyers and Funders
Over the next few years you can expect to progress your career to Director as part of the firm's long-term succession plan.

THE PERSON
You will be a Corporate Finance Advisory professional able to demonstrate the following:
- Background & experience in either Accountancy Practice or Independent Corporate Finance practice
- At least 1 - 2 years Corporate Finance Transaction experience at lower / mid-market level
- Good deal management skills, able to manage relationships with clients, funders and other professional advisors
- A strong desire to develop your career Director within an established M&A / Corporate Finance boutique
