You will be working for a university based in Cardiff. The campus offers on-site parking and is accessible via some public transport links.
Your new role
The principal function of this highly visible post is to provide high-quality executive support to the University Executive Group alongside the preparation and minuting of UEG meetings. Working in conjunction with the Executive Officer to the Vice-Chancellor, the post-holder will ensure a comprehensive and confidential administrative service to the University Executive Group in the delivery of all aspects of the university's strategic plan.What you'll need to succeed

• The Vice-Chancellor's office is a fast-paced and often high-pressure environment.
• You will be expected to manage competing demands, deal with wide-ranging and complex priorities, exercise a high level of personal responsibility and confidentiality with sensitive university information at all times, both within and outside the university.
• You will be skilled at managing conflicting priorities and apply a common-sense approach to resolving sensitive and complex matters.

What you'll get in return
You'll join an established team for a period of 6 months and earn a rate of £17 per hour and there may be an opportunity to apply for this post on a permanent basis. The role requires campus-based working with flexibility to work one day per week from home.
