Export Sales Manager
Surrey offices - Hybrid working or Home Based
JOB DESCRIPTION:
To have specific responsibilities in the developing instrumentation market across many sectors for export business. The role will be broad and entail pre-qualification of the Company and its products in agreed markets and/or projects, obtaining requests for quotation for the product and following through to successful order placement. There will also be a need to maintain proactive dialogue with all our customers to ensure the company remains at the forefront of their requirement for our products. This will require co-ordination with all the International Sales teams to ensure a consistent and cohesive message is delivered in the market.
The successful candidate will: -
Identify new potential customers and markets.
Supply of market intelligence about projects in or for the export business
Develop relationships with end clients so that our products are vendor listed and included in upcoming projects.
Develop relationships with the key Project Companies to follow their business globally
Manage the campaign to work with the OEM's
Co-ordinate the preparation of technical pre-qualification information for potential customers in all markets
Interpret customer data to identify the optimal solution and 'winning proposition' for their needs!
possess an understanding of process (Oil, Gas, Power, Renewable, Petrochemical, General industry) applications and knowledge of how our products (switches, transmitters, sensors and gauges) are used and specified to win business.
Be characterised by-self-belief, drive, ambition and hunger to deliver maximum sales from the region.
Managing and mentoring other external Sales engineers & international sales team
KEY VALUE ADDING DELIVERABLES:
Instrumentation background
Be in a sales role for at least 5 years
Ability to travel abroad fairly frequently
Sales experience in field instruments within major industrial sectors
Good IT skills
Approachable, professional and discrete
Team player ready to contribute to the goals of the company
