We are working with a leading independent manufacturer, which specialises in the installation of bespoke steel and sheet metal fabrications. Due to expansion we seek to recruit two permanent experienced Fabricators to work for our extensive portfolio of high-quality fabrication and installation projects.
As an experienced Fabricator you will be responsible for providing a high-quality service to our clients. We have a full order book and ambitious expansion plans and this is an ideal opportunity for you to join us and set the bar for our team.
In your new role as our Fabricator Welder, you will :
- Produce bespoke work for a variety of industries from aeroplanes, monorails, gantries, conveyors, safety rails, platforms, and ducting
- Mainly working in mild steel, experience of working in non-ferrous metals would be advantageous, a small amount of our work is in stainless
- Experienced in reading and interpreting drawings and specifications is a must
- Supporting our clients, on site, as some of our work is required on the clients premises
- Experienced with MIG, TIG and STICK welding

- Proven experience in fabrication and welding
- Proficient in using power tools and hand tools for cutting, shaping, and grinding metal
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Excellent work ethic
The hours are 7.30-4.30 with a 1.30 finish on a Friday, Auto enrol pension, good working environment. Salary is dependent on experience up to GBP18.00 per hour. However, we can accommodate fabricator / welders who are just starting in their career, provided you can start on a temporary basis for a work trial.
